BC Version
OobieUI - Shaman - 1650x1080
This UI uses RothUI as a base. It's been quite a bit since I've updated this UI. I've gone through several different configurations, but this general setup is what I inevitably came back to.

Most AddOns are linked to their author's download page, but I've modified some (mostly those that can only be configured through the lua), so using versions not included with this compilation may change the appearance or functionality of the interface.

Addon list:

AddonControlPanel

aTotemBar
Bagnon
BindPad
Broker_Equipment

ButtonFacade_Onyx
ColorTools

Installation:

COPY YOUR EXISTING INTERFACE AND WTF FOLDERS TO A BACKUP LOCATION(in case you want/need to go back to it), then delete the folders from your WoW directory. Then unzip OobieUI.zip to your WoW directory.

Before starting the game make sure to go through the WTF folder and replace any folder with an all caps name with the appropriate name.

NOTE: If your game is crashing go to your backup(remember, the one you made before installing this compilation =P) and copy your old config.wtf file from your WTF backup to the WTF folder in the WoW directory.

Configuration:

Once in game, you'll need to go into the blizzard addon configuration menu (escape -> interface -> addons) to set profiles for any AddOns that don't automatically configure themselves.

Depending on your screen size you may need to make a few minor adjustments to placement if you want the exact same look.

OobieUtil:

This is an addon I wrote to dump all my old LuaSlinger scripts into when 3.0 broke it. If you don't want some of the features you'll need to edit them out of the lua or disable the addon. It does the following:

Slash Commands

/sns
Rewrites an assist macro to your current target; or to /assist with no target. To use create a macro named 'assist' and type in the slash command. Slash command will not work in combat.

/autoinviteaccept
Toggles automatic acceptance of invites from guild members on and off.

Other Functions

-Sends a ding message to party and a channel when you level. You'll have to edit the lua to change the channel name or remove the channel message.
-When opening a trainer window, automatically changes the filter to show only skills you can learn.
-Rewrites bandage and mana potion macros to your best available when you: leave combat, change zones, loot something into your bag, or something is removed from your bag. To use create a global macro named 'Bndg' for bandages and 'manapot' for mana potions. I added this feature so that no matter what alt I was on or what bandages/potions they had it was always the same key for the best bandage/potion I had.
-Invites someone to your group that tells you the right keyword. Keywords are listed in the lua.
-Puts a who command in chat when someone invites you to group NOTE: disabling this will cause the /autoinviteaccept feature to not work.
-Automatically repairs you when you open a merchant window with the option to repair (uses guild funds if available)
-When you gain reputation or XP, the XP bar will be set to track whatever you just gained. Faction tracking will be disabled after a period of inactivity.
-Automatically accepts guild invites during raid times specified in the lua.
-Automatically rewrites an assist macro to the tank in 5 man groups.
-Rewrites a lance macro on acquiring a lance to easily swap between your weapon and the lance.

Many of the features now have config options in the first part of the lua file similar to oUF_D3Orbs.

Without even reading the whole front addons page, i knew you wouldn't even thank the developers of the addons you used.

However, I noticed your changelog message: "Removed AddOns written by cranky authors who do not want their work to be included in a compilation." and just wanted to say that I think your reaction is extremely childish. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands, of hours developing, improving, fixing, releasing, and supporting my addons. Not only does the law give me the absolute right to control how the product of this hard work is distributed, but common courtesy alone should compel you to respect my wish not to have my addons included in compilations without asking me first. I have never stated anywhere that I do not want my work included in compilations. If someone wants to put together a well-designed UI, keep it up to date, and provide comprehensive support, I am very likely to respond positively to a request for permission to include my addon... but that does require taking a few seconds to send me a quick message to ask. The fact that you did not take those few seconds, and didn't even respond directly to my request to remove my addon after including it without my knowledge or consent, but instead posted this insulting comment, shows me that you do not have much respect for the authors who have freely given so much of their time to contribute their addons to the WoW community.
Call me childish if you want but a simple PM would have sufficed for notification purposes. Instead you decided to place your notification on a public venue, effectively defacing the comment section of my compilation.

Your AddOn has been removed from my compilation (as well as the list of AddOns I currently use in my interface). Interestingly enough I was under the impression that open source software like AddOns were meant for the community at large to be used in a way that is helpful to other players. Furthermore I was in no way profiting by the redistribution of your AddOn, nor was I claiming it was a work of my own. This is sort of the essence of a compilation.

The law is a funny thing. It protects your code, but it also protects my right to freedom of speech, and I felt that my reference to cranky authors was not out of line as I did not reference you in particular until now and as mentioned before, you somehow felt it was necessary to publicly announce the "infraction" instead of keeping communication between us private. I responded in kind.

I guess you'll just have to deal with it much like I have to deal with this thread leaving a permanent black mark on this compilation. In the future, if you do not wish to become embroiled in public discussions that may or may not negatively affect you I would advise discretion in resolving issues you have with other people using your work.
