GUI/Minimap
BasicMinimap   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
BasicMinimap is a basic solution to a clean, square minimap.

Current feature set:
  • Moving
  • Scaling
  • Hiding blizz buttons
  • Zooming with mouse wheel & Auto zoom-out
  • Square or circular minimap
  • Strata selection
  • Selecting which mouseclick opens which menu (tracking/calendar)
  • Auto showing the calendar button when invites arrive
  • Border and border color selection with class color support

Default buttons, changeable in GUI:
  • LeftClick: Ping Position
  • RightClick: Toggle Calendar
  • MiddleClick: Toggle Tracking

The LFG icon and Group Flag symbol, would it be possible to have these move to the otherside of the minimap (right side) when the map is put on the left side of the screen?

LFG Tooltip
Hey there, I'm having trouble with the tooltip of the LFG icon on the minimap when I move it to the left side of my screen. When it's searching for other players, the tooltip goes offscreen. Is there anyway to fix the anchor?

thanks but this is most important keybind and im using it for other stuff, anyway even if i disable this key (middle mouse) i dont see the tracking menu. All addons for minimap have this problem for me, this is a important button, why addons authors "kill" it i dont knwo

it isn't there either. and yes the minimap is installed correctly. See it being loaded in ampere and it does replace the default minmap. I just have no way of editing it.

There isn't supposed to be a button for tracking on the map. You just click your middle mouse button(scroll wheel) while hovering over the map to get the tracking menu.

It's a Blizzard config window so you can open it up by opening the Interface Options and selecting the "AddOns" tab also, if the slash commands don't work.

i just installed it but cant see the button where we pick to track repair, herb, mail etc!....
edit- installed other addon for minimap, still cant see it. Probably is a bug from ricominimap i used before the path... and i deleted even wtf cache interface... thanks addon autors!

Hi, thanks for your awesome addon.

I have a problem, related with LFG, but not sure if should depend on the minimap. The icon moves fine and everything, but when I join a group I can see a sort of flag with a "5" (I suppose this is the number of members in the party) at the top right, where the minimap should be.

I can't take a screenshot now, but I will when I go home.

Is there a way to get the LFG window that pops up to go to the right instead of to the left?

My minimap is on the left of my screen, so I can't see the popup anyway when it pops up.

Thanks for getting the LFG icon onto the minimap though.

Edit: If not it's alright, I just manually adjusted the coords of where the LFG icon anchors to.

This is a feature, zone text is completely removed to create the clean minimap.
